VE Day in Class 6


Science Week Quiz


A huge well done to Georgia, Jack N, Grace and Peggy who represented Class 6 in the Science Quiz today! We also finished off science week by looking at how we could make eggs float. Why did the eggs float Class 6?

Science week continues


This afternoon we continued our Science work by trying to work out which was our dominant side. Here are some photos of us carrying out the experiments. Which was your dominant side? We also finished the day with a great experiment using a basketball and a tennis ball. What happened class 6?

Today we had a visit from Mr Strachen of LGGS who taught us all about craters. Here are some pictures of us carrying out our experiments.

Dig For Victory


Today Class 6 began their Dig For Victory campaign. Alongside Mrs P we weeded and turned over the soil in our bed before adding in our onions.

Super Science


This week we’ve taken our science outside. Continuing our work on plants we covered a section of grass with black plastic and are leaving it for a week to see what happens. What do you think will happen Class 6?



Class 6 have gone Mathletics crazy. Well done to George, Alanna, Georgia, Thomas, Olivia Wa, Caspar and Jack B on their Bronze Awards. Keep it up mathletes!
